Province: Cyrodiil is to be an epic mod for The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind which adds the Imperial Province to the game, along with an equally epic main quest and a number of guild and side quests.
We aim not to simply recreate Cyrodiil as seen in Oblivion, but rather our own vision which will adhere more closely to previous incarnations of the lore such as that found in the first edition of The Pocket Guide to the Empire.
We strongly recomend signing up for our Forums on Zetaboards rather than our main site here, unless you intend becoming part of our staff.

| Various Improvements/Additions |
This kinda qualifies as a journal, but really I just want to show off some of the news category icons besides the main "news" one. Still, I might as well go ahead and show off the others as well:

I've also added these icons to my Mod Projects website. Another improvement to both sites is an advanced downloading system. Non-members of the project won't be able to actually appreciate the improvement here for some time since Public Downloads is presently just something of a place-holder for an eventual release, but you can see it in action on the Mod Projects site. The only major problem is that for some reason if a download category has multiple pages the second page link doesn't work. :(
In any case, the new downloads system helps make things much more efficient with Modder's Downloads, allowing files up to 10MB in size to be uploaded directly to the site without the need for FTP, allowing for infinite sub-categories, and having individual pages for each download that can include a small image gallery.
I've also added a simple IRC-based chat room applete for the development team. Again, this is something that non-modders won't have access to, and in this case it won't be on the Mod Projects site either because that site doesn't really need a chat room at the moment.
One last feature I've added is some kind of "Instant Messenger" infusion. Not sure yet if I'm going to keep it installed since I've got no idea how it's supposed to work yet.
I may be doing a little work on the Admin Panel icons but that's only going to be of interest to an even more exclusive set of people. lol |
| Photo Gallery/Screenshots |
Over the past couple days I've been working on uploading numerous screenshots/concept art/etc. to the Photo Gallery. Some of the screenshots are slightly "enhanced" to bring out the highlights and shadows and make them look "prettier" overall. I'm sure that using certain shaders might provide a similar effect and since not everyone will be able to use MGE to its fullest extent anyway the screenshots aren't going to reflect everyone's experience with the mod anyway. lol
I especially reccomend taking a look at ZXT012's Gallery which contains some pretty good screenshots. Be sure to check out the other galleries as well for concept art, looks at models created for the game by starwarsguy and zackg and for additional screenshots. |
| Site Reboot |
Just did a quick little reboot of the site to change the admin password (which I forgot) so I can remember it to make team members admins so they can provide their own updates. I also took the liberty to reskin the site as well. This theme's a bit simpler but it should work in any browser this time so it's all good.
I'll also be attemtping to somehow integrate the website with the forums. Currently, I've gotten far enough that the Discussion Forum link directs to the external forums on Zetaboards.
In other news, we'd like to welcome zackg back to the project. |
